The Vancouver Jewish Folk Choir is seeking an alto section leader/soloist to support and anchor our community choir’s rehearsals and performances throughout the season. This position starts immediately (applications accepted until filled).

A new season of the Vancouver Jewish Folk Choir starts on Tuesday, September 13th! In honour of our 45th year (founded in 1980), choir members share reflections on the annual Spring Concert, "Doyres Zingen," which took place at the Peretz Centre on Sunday, June 15th, 2025. Combining storytelling, visual arts and original klezmer-inspired music, Shterna and the Lost Voice reimagines Jewish folklore for a contemporary audience.

Last Thursday on the 12th of Nissan 5785, beloved Peretznik Gallia Chud passed away at the age of 101. We honour her memory.
