Event Description
Calling klezmer musicians! KlezWest sponsors a monthly klezmer jam program for klezmer beginners, intermediate, and advanced klezmer players. All klezmer instruments and musicians are welcome to join!
The next jam session will take place at the Peretz Centre for Secular Jewish Culture (6184 Ash Street) on Sunday, January 11th from 2-5pm:
Bring your own instrument and music stand
Some charts supplied, some we learn by ear
Fees are by donation (recommended: $5)

KlezWest is an informal group of musicians, Yiddish speakers, and friends who love to explore, and play klezmer music. We meet monthly to learn songs togethe and connect. Regular jam sessions take place on the second Sunday of every month (check the KlezWest website to join their mailing list).
