Event Description
Calling klezmer musicians! KlezWest and the Peretz Centre sponsor a monthly klezmer jam program for beginner, intermediate, and advanced klezmer players. All klezmer instruments and musicians are welcome to join.
This month's jam will also include Yiddish dancing for all ages and all levels, led by Claudia Bulaievsky, (from 2:30pm)! Come learn Yiddish folk dances with live music before we dance the night away at our 80th anniversary gala on Saturday, May 23rd.
The next jam session & dance will take place at the Peretz Centre for Secular Jewish Culture (6184 Ash Street) on Sunday, April 12th from 2-5pm.

Fees are by donation (recommended: $5)

KlezWest is an informal group of musicians, Yiddish speakers, and friends who love to explore, and play klezmer music. We meet monthly to learn songs togethe and connect. Regular jam sessions take place on the second Sunday of every month (check the KlezWest website to join their mailing list).
