Book Synopsis
Have you ever wondered how the universe began or howlife started and evolved to generate humans? Dr. Gerry Krystal takes the reader on a 13.8-billion-year journey from the origins of our universe to our current TV-watching Homo Sapiens.
Written in a lighthearted and easy-to-follow manner, this book covers critical events that led to our existence, starting with the fusion of hydrogen into helium within the first stars, the emergence and evolution of life on Earth and even the intriguing possibility of a creator. “Our Universe and How We Got Here” encourages readers to consider how we humans might survive with a little less malevolence and selfishness, and a little more empathy and collaboration. This book was written to share Dr. Krystal's love of science and to make what is currently known accessible to everyone.
