Jewish Secular Humanism

Jewish secular humanism celebrates Jewish life while foregoing appeals for divine intervention, instead putting our faith in human reason and human power as the best vehicles for improving the world. This belief system underscores Peretz Centre's cultural celebrations as well as our educational programs.

Pnei Mitzva - Program

Ages: 10-14.

This one-of-a-kind, secular cultural program is designed for Jewish teens.

We keep an open-minded and welcoming environment, where all participants feel accepted and valued.

we encourage individual exploration for each participant to find the connection and unique path to Judaism. We hold humanistic, progressive and universal values aspects of Jewish heritage

The program focuses on:

Modern Hebrew Language.

Celebrating Jewish Holidays.

Bible Stories.

Jewish Literature, music, art and more.
