This month's after-dinner guest:

SingSong Shabbes with Antonia Lassar

Come lift your voice in community at a special evening of group singing led by songleader Antonia Lassar. We'll explore old Jewish melodies, new niggunim, and improvised harmonies, weaving our voices together in joy and connection. Whether you're a seasoned singer or just love to listen, this is a space to challenge yourself, open your heart, and discover deeper connections—to the music, to the tradition, and to each other. No experience necessary—just bring your voice and your curiosity!

Our Songleader: Antonia Lassar is a comedian/actor/hot person who blew up on The Jewish Internet with her viral TikToks. Her comedy has been featured by Just For Laughs, Glamour Magazine, USA Today, and, obviously, Hey Alma. You can catch her performing with the iconic UCB Theatre, co-hosting the Yenta Podcast, or crushing standup in LA and your mom’s synagogue.

Our Community Partner: JQT Vancouver (pronounced J-Cutie) is a volunteer-run Jewish Queer and Trans charitable non-profit dedicated to "queering" Jewish spaces and "Jew-ifying" Queer spaces through education, dialogue, art, cultural celebration and partnerships in Vancouver, BC, on the traditional and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sə̓lílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples. This event is part of the JQT Mental Health Support Series, developed in partnership with JFS Vancouver.
