One of our most popular programs, our monthly non-religious shabbes dinner, Fraytik tsu Nakht, begins with a candles/wine/challeh service and then a wonderful pot luck meal. Most months, we are treated to a stimulating talk by a guest speaker.

Please call the office, 604-325-1812, and let us know if you will be paying or bringing a dish, and what you will be bringing.

Admission: a dish (couples please bring double-sized dish) OR $10/person.

Fraytik tsu Nakht begins at 6:30 pm.



Feb. 19 Simon and Mia Bonettemaker: slide show and talk about their trip to Amsterday and that city's old synagogue.
Mar. 19 Al Stein will read a story by Moishe Nadir, in English.
Apr. 23 Leslie Dyson: talk about the CSJO Regional Conference to be held at the Peretz Centre in September, 2010.
May 28 Bob Heyman: talk and slide show on his recent bike trip through Cambodia.
June Date and topic TBA.
